A little girl, growing up fast.

I can tell you from experience, there is nothing that makes time fly faster than having a child. It takes amazing effort to stay present, be aware and just enjoy every moment that you can. Before you know it they have grown up!

I recently had the opportunity to photograph a beautiful young lady and her parents that started as clients years ago, when they interviewed me to photograph their wedding, and have now become friends. An engagement shoot, wedding, newborn and a number of family sessions have led to this body of work. This is the kind of experience that makes the job great. To be able to capture these precious life moments is a great honor and I appreciate being the one chosen to do it.

Thank you, young lady & your super parents, for including me in this journey!

Prospect, New Town…..Longmont’s outdoor studio

I love to shoot in Prospect, New Town. Prospect is a little eclectic development on the southeast side of Longmont, Colorado. There are so many options for backdrops. Color, texture, lighting all are abundant and nearby. This proves to be very valuable in a shooting location when your subjects are two young brothers that have a hard time standing still. Needless to say, the boys and the location were a perfect match for my guerrilla style of portrait capture. We covered alot of ground in a short amount of time and got tons of great images.

Denver City Park…..a great place for wonderful portraits

On a recent chilly afternoon I had the opportunity to photograph a great little guy and his family. We met in Denver’s City park and were treated to some fantastic afternoon light. Although it was cold everyone did a great job and we came away with some awesome images. A gigantic flock of Canadian Geese were nice enough to fly over us on-Que to add to the action.
